Apply for the Manchester Leadership Programme

Acceptance onto the Manchester Leadership Programme is competitive, so all prospective students need to apply. Based on the demand for places last year, we anticipate being oversubscribed, even with increased capacity.

Students or academic schools cannot register students directly. Students must apply by completing an online application form.

Before you apply

• Students who apply for the MLP should be committed to undertaking the voluntary work.
• Check your eligibility for the available Leadership in Action academic units. The majority of undergraduate students with a free choice option or equivalent will be eligible to take a Leadership in Action unit. No prior knowledge of the subject matter is required.
• You can apply only once, so make sure you know which Leadership in Action unit you want to take / are eligible for.
• Any requests to change the unit applied for should be emailed to leadership@manchester.ac.uk
