Jakibai Kimis, a Medical student volunteered in Ghana as part of her MLP volunteering. She believes it was one of the best experiences she has ever had. Manchester Leadership Programme aims to:
- inform, enlighten and inspire the leaders of tomorrow by providing an opportunity to learn from the leaders of today
- enrich the learning and enhance the employability of students at The University of Manchester
- challenge and equip students to confront personal values and make ethical judgements
- prepare students for citizenship, entrepreneurship and leadership in diverse global environments
Students who successfully complete both the academic units and the volunteering receive the prestigious Manchester Leadership Award.
